Teswess’s art blurs the margins between poetry and music. The Nigerian singer/rapper manifests a fusion of both in a matrimony called “rap-singing” which he uses to skillfully weave stories.
Born and bred in Nigeria, artists like Olamide seem to be his major inspirations and set the mould that shaped his art– making use of distinct afrobeats sounds to word out his lyrics.

‘E Pain Me’ is his latest work in which Teswess throws on a splash of sentiment, mixed with a tinge of realism, singing about the tribulations of Nigerian citizens and the state of the country in this track. The uncertainty of Nigeria’s future leadership among all other things vexes him sorely and he lets his listeners know.
