Layzee Ella is taking the Nigeria music scene by its horn with her latest EP project “Feel Everything”, and has proceeded to share visuals for “Medusa” – its Khaid-assisted lead single.
Directed by Director Pink for Pinkline Films, the video draws inspiration from Greece’s classical and mythological character, Medusa; visually established by molded statues with snakes for hair. It goes further to paint the picture that Layzee Ella aimed at creating with her vocals on the feel-good record.

Nigeria’s next superstar, Onose Emmanuella Bagudu, better known as Layzee Ella, is an eager rapper, singer, and songwriter hoping to grab afrobeat’s’ land of possibility with both hands. Although her journey seems to have started on social media through the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Layzee has been writing music since she was all but 8 years old. The self-proclaimed introvert drew creative inspiration from her love of reading and began her own process of storytelling through writing songs.
Like most of the other songs on the “Feel Everything” project, “Medusa” takes an upbeat pace and will easily spur every listening head to bop. On her sound and how best to describe her music, Ella says: “It depends totally on what I feel per time. Some songs on Feel Everything are very sexual while the others are feel-good records. Above everything, I really just want listeners to be able to relate to my life’s stories while having a good time.”
Itty can be caught studying African pop culture, writing about it or hosting a relationship podcast. When he's not doing any of these, then he's definitely at a bar, getting mocktail.
