In celebration of Nigeria’s 63rd independence, Apple Music featured a list of subcultures in the Nigerian music scene in new collection ‘OSHE NAIJA’. This featured collection highlighted various categories including ‘Top 5 Biggest Nigerian Artists of All Time on Apple Music’, ‘Top 5 Nigerian Artists on the Rise on Apple Music’, ‘Street Hop’ amongst others.
The African Giant, Burna Boy tops the list for the ‘Top 5 Biggest Nigerian Artists of All Time on Apple Music’, with Wizkid at number two, Davido at number three, Rema at number four and Asake at number five.
This Apple Music curated list does not come as a surprise as each of these celebrated artists have succeeded in setting and breaking records in the African scene at large. From Grammy nominations to selling out stadiums for shows.
Seyi Vibez tops the list for ‘Top 5 Nigerian Artists on the Rise’, ODUMODUBLVCK, Shallipopi, Victor Thompson, Bayanni occupy the later positions on the list sequentially.
