Ukairo is an all round creative who employs distinct media in portraying his dexterity to the world. With a genuine love for film, photography, poetry and music, he constantly tells stories that resonate with everyone. His ability to cross-pollinate these media of expression while passing across any message, has over the years added to his uniqueness.
As a filmmaker and an actor, he creates and embodies characters that light up a certain part of our imagination, and through poetry, he curates words that tell the story of the multi-faceted nature of life. He adds a soothing tune to these spoken words, and they become music for the soul. His photography skills are not left out, as they are often put into use in the form of visualizers for his songs, which solidifies his words and thoughts.
Ukairo has featured in a couple of movies including ‘The House Invictus’, ‘Ebezina’ and ‘Lovebites’. He has also released several songs and music projects, particularly Extended Plays.
His latest Ep titled ‘The Road to Damascus‘ was released on the 22nd of June, 2023. This body of work highlights the essence of introspection, and the ability to live in the moment because only then, would you appreciate life in its truest form. This project also talks about the current life challenges of the artist, and how he maneuvers them. He expresses all of these in songs pierced with amazing backup vocals and sweet rhythm.
