Directed by Tay as “A Family Picture,” the intimate clip threads together candid vignettes in Nigeria. Pheelz pulls up to a barbershop to greet friends as he croons to the camera. In between scenes from a photo shoot, he and Young Jonn join a choir in perfect harmony as heavenly choreography captivates. The video offers a glimpse of his life in Africa and projects the uplifting energy of the track on-screen and on stage.
“JELO” has already gathered over 3.1 million streams and counting. Beyond plugs from OkayAfrica and Culture Custodian, while The Guardian Nigeria predicted, “This release sets the stage for exciting collaborations in the future, showcasing their ability to create magic together.”
Originating as producers, they contributed to a plethora of hit singles for various Afrobeats superstars.
