In a jubilant celebration of Pan-African culture, Digimillennials is thrilled to officially announce the return of its AfroVibes Festival coming this June 2024 in locations across Waterloo and Kitchener. Aligned with the mission to celebrate, elevate, and amplify African Culture across Canada and North America, this festival promises to be an extraordinary showcase of diversity, creativity, and community spirit.
The festival captures the essence and vibrancy of Pan-African culture. A fusion of colors, rhythms, and traditions, it will feature African food, drinks, culture workshops, art, fashion and very importantly, music.
Building on the success of our previous edition, AfroVibes Festival 2024 is set to be even bigger and better! As we gear up for this remarkable, we are excited to share a sneak peek into the immersive experiences, performances, and cultural delights that will make this year’s festival truly unforgettable.
We have decided to curate a three day event happening from the 6th, 7th and 8th of June.
June 6th: AfroKaraoke in the Square
An electrifying prelude to the Afrovibes Festival with “AfroKaraoke in the Square” at Waterloo Public Square, an unforgettable Karaoke experience.
June 7th: Panel Sessions
Panel sessions spotlighting Black visionaries and leaders, celebrating their remarkable journeys and inspiring unity, innovation, and meaningful change.
June 8: Main Festival
The Afrovibes Festival will be an unforgettable celebration of African culture with packed activities which include live music, dance performances, art exhibitions, fashion, workshops, delicious food, and the most anticipated introduction of “Digimillennials Sound System”.
We are excited to announce that the celebrations won’t end with the festivals. On the final night of the three-day festival, join us for an unforgettable after-party at “THEMUSEUM” where it will be filled with incredible music, electrifying vibes, and plenty of surprises.
