Counting down to this year’s edition, we should pay attention to how much impact Afrovibes Festival in Kitchener-Waterloo has been having on promoting African culture in Canada. From celebrating our music, to the continent’s food, dance, and characteristic happiness.
Nonso Amadi Headlining
In the past two editions, popular Nigerian Canada-based R&B golden-boy, Nonso Amadi, has made captivating appearances. His musical performances have always stirred up moments of celebration, appreciation for African music and togetherness at the festival. He has been confirmed for this year’s edition as well — a highlight to look forward to!
Stimulating Panel Sessions
Preluding the concert day, the panel sessions have consistently sparked the right conversations surrounding the propagation of African and Black popular culture as a whole in North America. Its moderators and speakers have a reputation for always touching the right points and tabling the topics that matter.
